Family Snow Session

Can I just say, I love taking pictures in the snow?! The lighting during snow sessions is more than perfect! If you are thinking about doing a snow session, you should definitely do it!

I took these photos while we were on vacation for Thanksgiving with my family. We were staying in Utah and my brother wanted family pictures taken while we were together. It was DUMPING snow almost the whole day and they have pretty young children, so we were a little worried about the weather. Once we started taking pictures we realized that even though it was cold, it made for some pretty beautiful family pictures.

Just a little bit about Robert and Megan….They met while they were in High School and liked each other ever since they were 15. They started dating and dated into college. My brother, Robert, went on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for two years and Megan waited for him during that time. When he returned home from his mission they were married about a year or so later. They have two children who are so cute and kind (not that I’m biased or anything…). I am so lucky to have them as examples in my life and know that they are always there to come to if I need anything.
